Mechbox The central mechanism of an Airsoft Automatic Electric Gun (AEG) that houses the gears, piston, and switch. Sometimes called a Gear Box, the Mechbox translates the rotational movement of the AEG’s electric motor into a reciprocating motion for the piston, by using a set of gears. The Mechbox loads the BBs into the breach, powers each shot and provides the semi and full-automatic use of the gun in a safe manner.

Metal Body Kit Upgrades that add weight and strength to an Airsoft AEG.

Mid-Cap (Medium Capacity) Another name for a type of Airsoft magazine, the Mid-Cap or Medium Capacity mag usually works in the same manner as a Lo-Cap mag and is very reliable. The Mid-Cap mag holds double the amount of BBs than a Lo-Cap mag holds, around 100-200 BBs.
