Mother of Modern Day Airsoft Guns
Often regarded as the “mother of modern day Airsoft guns,” Tokyo Marui (TM) is the very pinnacle of Airsoft technology and durability. TM, a Japanese company, got its start in the mid 1980s by being at the forefront of the radio control car hobby. Greatly successful with a variety of model cars, their biggest seller was called the “Big Bear” (A 1/12-scale model monster truck with a Datsun pick-up truck body). With steep competition squeezing them out of the model car market, TM turned to the production of Airsoft guns in 1992.

High Quality
Tokyo Marui’s primary focus and reputation is for its well made, high quality automatic electric guns or AEGs. The TM AEGs are most noted for a number of high qualities:

• When modified these guns typically fire 0.2g BBs at around 270-295 feet per second.
• They use rechargeable batteries and have a metal gearbox.
• Although they have a light and flexible feel due to the amount of ABS plastic material used to manufacture the body of the gun, they are strongly reliable and very realistic.
• Recently began to produce a line of gas blowback guns (GBB).
